Through images of childhood, wonder, and disconnection, her photographs consider what is restored when we slow down, pay attention, and remember that we are nature—not separate from it.
Her work has been exhibited and presented internationally in South Korea, Paris, New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and San Diego.

A large-scale photography exhibition and immersive launch celebrating Christina McFaul’s debut limited-edition artist book, Sanctuary in the Wild.
Presented among the rare and exotic living collections of the San Diego Botanic Garden, the evening brought together photography, art, nature, and conservation.
The event also featured an exhibition by emerging young photographers whom McFaul had mentored for six months leading up to the show.

Christina McFaul’s limited-edition artist book, Sanctuary in the Wild, was presented by Datz Press at The Photography Show presented by AIPAD—the premier international art fair dedicated to photography and the longest-running fair of its kind in the United States.
Returning to the historic Park Avenue Armory for its 43rd edition, the fair brought together leading galleries, publishers, artists, curators, collectors, and institutions from around the world, presenting photography across the history of the medium.

This exhibition introduced Connected, a new body of work examining the tension between digital culture and the natural world.
Illuminated by the blue light of their devices, the children in McFaul’s photographs invite questions about attention, play, technology, and what may be lost as childhood becomes increasingly mediated by screens.

A group exhibition featuring Christina McFaul alongside Linda Connor, Mary Daniel Hobson, and Sal Taylor Kydd.
Elegy of Beauty explores photography as a vessel for memory, longing, and the fleeting beauty of the natural world. McFaul’s photographs follow her two young sons as they discover what it means to live as part of nature.
